RUDY AND YVONNE LOPEZ, Senior Pastors
The senior pastors attended Holmes Bible College together in Greenville, South Carolina, graduated, and engaged in ministry at Emmanuel Praise and Worship Center of Fountain Inn, South Carolina. After returning to Hawaii in 1993, they began teaching in a private Christian school, and began pastoring the current local fellowship in 1995.
Pastor Rudy was born and raised in Hilo, on the Big Island of Hawaii, and married the former Yvonne Yuen of Honolulu. Ironically, it was after 14 years of marriage and two children later that the Lord called them into ministry, away from the comfort and culture of Hawaii, and it was to be an 8-year journey that prepared them for the return home and work of reaching into the Pacific and beyond.
